Triều Đại Coffee’s Seattle Debut: A Weekend to Remember

This past weekend at the Seattle Coffee Festival marked a defining moment for Triều Đại Coffee.

We came to share a story, not just of coffee, but of culture, heritage, and a commitment to reshaping how Vietnamese coffee is seen in the specialty world.
And you showed up in the most beautiful way.

Ahead of the event, we wrote on our blog about the anticipation, vulnerability, and purpose behind our debut, about what it means to carry the weight of representation with both pride and humility. We came to honor the microfarms of Đà Lạt, the communities preserving these traditions, and the heritage that shapes every cup.

That vision came to life more powerfully than we could have imagined.

A Showcase of Craft

We introduced three new processing profiles { washed, natural, and honey } sourced through partnerships with small farms in the Đà Lạt region.

The feedback was incredible. And inspiring.

Alongside our flagship lineup { Âme Khói, Annam Fleur, and Aube Đà Lạt } these new offerings sparked conversations, curiosity, and admiration.

Triều Đại’s booth quickly became a standout at the festival, not just for the coffee, but for the experience.

Lines formed throughout the day, and many visitors shared their appreciation for the elegance of our branding and the depth of our brews.

It was especially meaningful to hear how many wished they could take a bag home.
And now they can, because our online store is officially live, with Âme Khói as our first available release.

More offerings are coming soon.

To Our Team Behind the Scenes

While the three co-founders were fully engaged with the crowds, pouring, storytelling, and connecting, none of it would have run smoothly without Jupiter and Maria.

Working tirelessly behind the scenes, they kept our canisters full and our bar stocked, ensuring every pour was perfect.

Thank you both for being the quiet strength that powered us through the busiest moments. And offering words of wisdom, suggestions for improvement and being a study force that allowed us to flourish amid the chaos.

What’s Next

Seattle affirmed everything we believe in:
That Vietnamese coffee deserves a seat at the specialty table,  not as a novelty, but as a legitimate, complex, and beautiful expression of origin, craft, and people.

We’re more energized than ever to continue this work:

Partnering with farms in Đà Lạt, amplifying their efforts, and sharing their coffees with the world,  in a way that protects their legacy and honors where we come from.

To everyone who stopped by our booth,  thank you.
You’ve become part of our story now.
And we’re just getting started.

With gratitude,

The Triều Đại Coffee Team

Seattle Coffee Festival - Stepping Into the Steam

Stepping Into the Steam: Preparing for My First Seattle Coffee Festival ☕✨

There is something sacred about a first cup. The first sip that lingers on the tongue. The first aroma that rises like incense from the grounds. And for us, at Triều Đại Coffee, this will be our first offering to the world.

This fall, we step into the light for the very first time at the Seattle Coffee Festival, a city and event known for shaping the very culture we now join. It is both a great honor and a quiet revolution: the debut of a Vietnamese coffee house rooted in tradition, precision, and reverence for the bean.

Why Seattle, Why Now?

Seattle isn’t just a coffee city, it’s the coffee city. Its streets pulse with café culture, and the upcoming festival gathers curious coffee lovers, seasoned roasters, and likeminded entrepreneurs all under one deliciously energizing roof. For a brand-new coffee business like mine, it’s the perfect (and perfectly nerve-wracking) place to show our vision to the world.

 A Ritual, Shared

Launching a coffee brand is more than picking beans and roasting them, it’s about crafting a story of luxury and taste. Over the past months, I’ve been working late into the night: sourcing ethically grown beans, refining roasting profiles until flavors sing, and developing branding that feels authentic and evocative. Every late-night cupping session, every tweak, and every misstep led me here.

What We’re Bringing to the Booth

Here’s the good (and better) part: we’re bringing heart, hustle, and a lineup of three distinct coffee profiles that really reflect our values and flavors:

  1. Annam Fleur: Floral and smooth, a bean with citrusy zing that’s perfect for morning motivation.
  2. Aube Đà Lạt: Rich and tobacco, a mellow, satisfying roast that feels like a treat in every sip.
  3. Âme Khói: Spice and smoke, a daring, adventurous roast with warm spice notes and seductive smoke.

Overcoming Pre‑Festival Jitters

I’m not gonna lie, my nerves are humming. Will people love our coffees? Will we be able to tell our story in a way that resonates? It's easy to feel the pressure, but here’s what’s helping me rise above:

  • Community Mindset – At the festival, we’re not just vendors. We’re fellow coffee lovers. It’s a community of dreamers as much as it is of grinders.
  • Embracing the Learning Curve – Every conversation, every tasting, every question is a chance to learn and grow.
  • Staying True to Our Roots – We didn’t get here by compromising on quality or ethics. That foundation gives me confidence.

Join Me for the Journey

Triều Đại Coffee was born of legacy. Vietnam is the world’s second-largest coffee producer, yet its contributions remain largely unrecognized in the luxury space. We believe it is time to change that, with quiet elegance and uncompromising quality.

We are not here to follow trends. We are here to build an empire of taste, one pour at a time.

Here’s to first beans, festival buzz, and bold beginnings, see you in Seattle!
