Stepping Into the Steam: Preparing for My First Seattle Coffee Festival ☕✨
There is something sacred about a first cup. The first sip
that lingers on the tongue. The first aroma that rises like incense from the
grounds. And for us, at Triều Đại Coffee, this will be our first
offering to the world.
This fall, we step into the light for the very first time at the Seattle Coffee Festival, a city and event known for shaping the very culture we now join. It is both a great honor and a quiet revolution: the debut of a Vietnamese coffee house rooted in tradition, precision, and reverence for the bean.
Why Seattle, Why Now?
Seattle isn’t just a coffee city, it’s the coffee
city. Its streets pulse with café culture, and the upcoming festival gathers
curious coffee lovers, seasoned roasters, and likeminded entrepreneurs all
under one deliciously energizing roof. For a brand-new coffee business like
mine, it’s the perfect (and perfectly nerve-wracking) place to show our vision
to the world.
A Ritual, Shared
Launching a coffee brand is more than picking beans and
roasting them, it’s about crafting a story of luxury and taste. Over the past
months, I’ve been working late into the night: sourcing ethically grown beans,
refining roasting profiles until flavors sing, and developing branding that
feels authentic and evocative. Every late-night cupping session, every tweak,
and every misstep led me here.
What We’re Bringing to the Booth
Here’s the good (and better) part: we’re bringing heart,
hustle, and a lineup of three distinct coffee profiles that really reflect our
values and flavors:
- Annam Fleur: Floral and smooth, a bean with citrusy zing that’s perfect for morning
motivation.
- Aube Đà Lạt: Rich and tobacco, a mellow, satisfying roast that feels like a treat in
every sip.
- Âme Khói: Spice and smoke, a daring, adventurous roast with warm spice notes and seductive smoke.
Overcoming Pre‑Festival Jitters
I’m not gonna lie, my nerves are humming. Will people love
our coffees? Will we be able to tell our story in a way that resonates? It's
easy to feel the pressure, but here’s what’s helping me rise above:
- Community
Mindset – At the festival, we’re not just vendors. We’re fellow coffee
lovers. It’s a community of dreamers as much as it is of grinders.
- Embracing
the Learning Curve – Every conversation, every tasting, every question
is a chance to learn and grow.
- Staying
True to Our Roots – We didn’t get here by compromising on quality or
ethics. That foundation gives me confidence.
Join Me for the Journey
Triều Đại Coffee was born of legacy. Vietnam is the world’s
second-largest coffee producer, yet its contributions remain largely
unrecognized in the luxury space. We believe it is time to change that, with
quiet elegance and uncompromising quality.
We are not here to follow trends. We are here to build an
empire of taste, one pour at a time.
Here’s to first beans, festival buzz, and bold beginnings, see
you in Seattle! ☕
